🚗 Vehicles
Vehicle words belong to trips. This page is the English list from the vehicle games, including three toy vehicles that are separate from the real car, train, and plane. Use it on the way somewhere, not as homework at the kitchen table. When you are stopped safely, name one vehicle you can both see. A bus counts. A bike counts. If you only see cars, stay with car and leave airplane for a day when one is overhead. The toy words are for play on the floor later, so you do not mix up the real truck and the toy car.
Bike, bus, car, and truck are short. Ambulance has three beats: AM-byoo-luns. Airplane is one word here, not air plane. Toy car, toy train, and toy plane are their own keys in the games, so they have their own sentences. Say the full phrase, not only toy.
The flashcards open with English on one side and Spanish on the other, which is the usual pair when you start from the home page.
A verse to read together
Read this aloud if it fits your home. These words are Psalm 121:8 in the King James Version, a public-domain English Bible.
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
