Learn
These lessons are the word lists behind the games. Each theme has its own page: a note for the adult, every word with a way to say it and a short sentence, a Bible verse with a citation, and one coloring page that matches the theme. Read a lesson before you play, or after, when a word did not stick. The games are the practice. The lesson is the page you can send a grandparent or print. Start with one theme. Animals is the usual first stop. Family and fun is the home list. The Bible theme is there if you want it, and the other themes still work if you skip it.
Animals
Animal names are the easiest first list, because a child already has a favorite.
Nature
Nature words are the ones a child can check by looking up.
Food
Food words stick because they show up on a plate.
Vehicles
Vehicle words belong to trips.
School
School words are already on the desk or in the bag.
Professions
Job words make sense when a child can point to a person.
Weather
Weather words are a morning check, not a unit you finish.
Bible
This theme is for families who want the Bible words beside the games.
Family & fun
On the site this theme is called Family and fun.
